where does the best barbecue come from?
It’s time to invite the gang over for some long overdue fun in the sun and the best barbecue you can get your hands on. But... where does the best barbecue come from?
In my opinion, the very best BBQ comes from American-style Kobe beef, raised on the award-winning Snake River Farm in Idaho. Yup......I’ve asked the good folks there to raise me some steers destined for barbecue......Texas BBQ brisket, to be precise! Then......I asked the best little smokehouse in Texas, Willy Ray’s, to turn this luxurious beef into the most mind-blowing BBQ ever.
And now, when you say you’re having a BBQ......through the magic of mail-order......you can throw an authentic Texas-style bash right in your own backyard.
This has never been easy......until now. When Yankees like me say, "We’re having a BBQ," what we usually mean is that we’re throwing hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. That’s not what they mean in the South!--where BBQ experts meticulously cook hunks of meat by indirect exposure to low-temperature hardwood smoke. Don’t try this at home, as they say......but do get the Snake River/Willy Ray’s wonder on your table now, in time for Memorial Day.
