"Here's the thing probably a lot of people don't know about the 'To Love Again' CD," Botti said. "Obviously making a duets record is not a new thing for a performer. They've done it all the time. Sometimes when I hear those duets records that are made, they feel, to me, the listener, that there's a record executive behind there going 'Hey, so and so, if you hook up with this singer, you'll reach this kind of an audience' and blah, blah, blah. It feels manipulated to me in some way. All of the people on 'To Love Again' I've either worked with heavily in the past or are really, really, really good friends of mine."
